After serving more than 15 years to the general IT industry, In January 2005 the Network & Telecommunication division under PT Praweda CIptakarsa Informatika – part of Soedarpo Informatika Group of Companies was spin out to form a new network service company.
The newly formed company, called PAT (PrawedaNET Aliansi Teknologi), or simply PrawedaNET, concentrates in delivering end-to-end internetworking services and professional consultancy.
The move is just in time to anticipate new opportunities in delivering higher value-added services in areas such as IP Convergence, application performance management, and IP v.6 migration.
As a network system integrator focusing in the business of designing, building, optimizing and servicing campus/LAN/WAN/Wireless network infrastructure, PAT differentiating factors would include:
- Handling corporate-enterprise-wide/Service providers needs for network infrastructure from different perspective: taking more responsibility by chasing the performance bottleneck at the protocol-stack level & collaborating with end-users/application developers/administrators to ensure the applications running on the network infrastructure perform better
- Using methodological approach in delivering service, based on Network Life-Cycle concept & adapting to various principles/consultants-proven methods & better-practices
- Investing heavily & continuously on People Skills (vocational training, seminars & conferences worldwide), Tool-sets (various measurement & Analyzers), and ways to further improve Internetworking IT process
- Driving IT network industry-awareness & nurturing professionalism in the area of networking through its member leadership and active participation, promoting APAC events such as APRICOT (Asia Pacific Regional Internet Conference on Operational Technology) as well as promoting local awareness through NICE- (National Internet Conference & Education) & various other venues
